Singapore

22 hours in Singapore.
Landed 0130, took a while to find a taxi driver that could find a 24hr hotel - turned out to be in a dodgy area on the outskirts of town. Not tired, but not hungry enough to go across the road to the makan and be a conspicuous white guy at 0340 in the morning, so slept. 4 hours sleep then found my way to the city on the train. Walked through Chinatown but nothing open. Took a river cruise. Walked to the area known as Little India and found a bustling makan foodhall. Walked along Orchard Road shops - bit too 'western' for my liking. Singapore has a nice mix of old and new, British and Asian.

It wouldn't be a proper trip to Singapore without a curry and the local beer
